Lomography has been making a vast variety of films for a long time now, it recently came to my attention that in all of the time which I have been shooting film i’ve never touched it.
This week this all changed when I went out to East London to perform a comparison between their colour negative 400 with Kodak’s most heralded film, portra 400.
After shooting the both films I can confidently say that I am more than happy with both of the results. The Lomography film definitely did surprise me, with some lovely tones, although it is a tad warmer than I would have preferred, I can easily alter this in post. I would say that the Lomography film didn’t hold up as well in the shadows, but this shouldn’t be too much of a problem when you should be over exposing instead of under as a general rule of colour films.

Great work man. I just realized you were uploading the pics… I was just pausing the video hahaha lucky me for reading the description!
A shame you didn’t have 2 medium format cameras with you for a direct comparison. Enjoyed the video though! Great work.
